Yep I'm going to get him a ESA/PSD (emotional support animal/Psychiatric service dog) He loves animals and gets on great with our other service dog but doesn't get to interact with her much due to her working with my 3 yo. I haven't told him yet. Isn't it amazing that when you don't want a dog there are ads and strays (at the pound) all over the place but when you start looking ......none!

That's the way it goes! Hope you find a good one. I love animals too, and we've always had dogs. I think every child needs a pet. A good dog bonds with them and is so loyal, and that love is just so special and teaches so many good things without saying a word. Hope you find just the right one. His eyes are going to light up!
