Prayers sent from TX.
Prayer's for this young one and his family.
Prayers for the little one who is too young for this crisis. Prayers for the medical help to be able to come down to his level to understand him and have him understand them. Prayers for the family who hearts are breaking. May God bless them all with His Grace and Mercy. Amen.
Just pray for the strength you need. Somehow, through God's grace, we can always find it.
BTW, my sister-in-law let doctors call the shots without question. That was definitely the worst thing she could have done. You have a right to have a say in the treatment of your child. And so long as you are not trying to stop treatment completely (say, for instance, you've heard of another treatment that sounds more appropriate and want to switch to that), you shouldn't have too much trouble with government children's agencies.
Don't be scared to look around for other types of treatment and additional ones as well. By other types I mean things like horse-back riding programs for kids in crisis. Things like that often spark enough interest to help get them back on track.
May God bless you all.
Prayers up for this young man and his family, way to young to be in crisis please keep us posted.
Keeping you and your family in my prayers.
Prayers on the way.
Just thinking about y'all and wondering how things are going. Keeping you in prayer. God bless.
We're doing ok so far. I've been doing a lot of research and I've found out what he needs treatment wise. Unfortunatley that is not what the hospital gave him.........He has an appointment with a child psychiatrist on the 22nd and I will discuss all this with him then. In the meantime I've found a therapy/treatment that we can do at home long term.
Wonderful! So glad about the discovery of the home "therapy/treatment". Prayers that the appointment on the 22nd brings much success. May God's providence surround the whole situation, and bless and guide y'all and the doctor in what is best for Damian. Praying for you every day.
Heavenly Father, We parents are only beginning to suspect how much you care for us to allow us to call you father. Be with the baby who is in need and be with the baby's mother. Lord, in whatever circumstances that have created this nightmare, allow this child to see your promises kept- as clearly as the rainbow, as clearly as Christ on the cross. Use this to your glory that all men may know the depth of your mercy and compassion towards us, and as always help us to be worthy of the name of your son, Jesus Christ, who sufferred on our behalf.
Amen
That's the way it goes! Hope you find a good one. I love animals too, and we've always had dogs. I think every child needs a pet. A good dog bonds with them and is so loyal, and that love is just so special and teaches so many good things without saying a word. Hope you find just the right one. His eyes are going to light up!
Prayers up for you.
