Michael Savage just said on his radio show something like this: "Bush is playing rope-a-dope with Liberals. This nomination is intended to take the spot light off Karl Rove."
Savage was yucking it up when the local station switched to the Bush news conference. He was saying this was a very smart tactic by GWB.
