I have done my homework, indian, on Bush -- the Bush who gave us CFR, prescription drugs, and open borders -- the Bush who praised O'Connor, and, as you might recall, Clinton, like they were God's gift to mankind. If Bush had chosen a well-known conservative, like Brown or Jones, I would have been singing praises, myself. But by choosing a virtual unknown, who was unanimously approved by the Senate for the D.C. Circuit in 2003, Bush has created a cause for worry.
In Roberts case it's the opposite. We are pretty certain he IS a conservative. Yes, you are right, there were other candidates, about whom we are more certain. But this one is pretty GOOD and is a cause for celebration.
It's nice to see HAPPY CONSERVATIVES for a change. : )
