That's why all the TV talking heads try to sound like us, right? We have itty-bitty, local accents.
Maybe there are no accents in your area but last week a lady along Rt 31 south told us "jist go dawn tha rote to Vii-anna and turn lift".....We were to go down the road to Vienna....my sis, bil and I all laughed, but none of us had any trouble knowing what she was saying.
