Yes, both kids are adopted. And the sweetest looking kids. The boy is such a ham and the girl is so shy.

I think you've misunderstood my post. I was responding to someone wanting to see the nominee's conservative credentials...
My post pointed out that the Liberal group that produced the document strongly opposed his nomination to the circuit court. Based on their reasoning, he looked like a good choice to me. I can only hope that he's as conservative as they make him out to be.

wow..they looked blond haired..blued eyed..Negroponte I believe adopted all 5 of his kids from South America also..I think it's wonderful, but with all the unwanted kdis we have here at home...one wonders sometimes. ..I'd suspect it's more due to the red tape and endless delays in the adoption process here.... which is a shame...

Roberts said he stood for or believed in the institutions of this country. Whatever he said, it sounded encouraging to me.
Their auto-stimulated rejection of Roberts should not lead anyone to conclude that Roberts is anything other than an uproven Bush appointment, selected in the same style and fashion as G.H.W. Bush would have done. What a pity when one considers Michael Luttig in comparison to Roberts.
