DNA tests to be run on blond hair to see if it came from Natalee Holloway
The FBI is planning to conduct its own tests on long blond hairs that could be connected to the case of an Alabama teen missing in Aruba.
An Aruba parks spokesman says a ranger found several strands of hair -- each about 12 inches long -- stuck to duct tape near a series of coastal caves. The area is on the opposite side of the island from where 18-year-old Natalee Holloway was last seen in public in May.
The hair is being sent to the Netherlands for DNA testing. An FBI spokeswoman says the agency's tests will be done at its lab in Quantico, Virginia. It's not known when any results would be released
Mark Twain.
I have wondered all along if the (revised) story about Joran and Natalee being dropped off on the beach near the Marriotts wasn't a red herring. It conventiently allows for an explanation of how Natalee could have been on her own, and thus victimized by a stranger. Thus, it is really just an improvement on the original lie the three men told about dropping her off at her hotel. This is how liars think -- version one didn't quite work, so let's amend it a bit. I suspect all the time spent searching this area has been wasted.
What's new with this case? Nothing?
Oh well, I'll check back next week when noting is still happening.
