Of course, our Founding Fathers would have amended the Constitution if any state legalized abortion, IMHO. Abortion was as unspeakable as satanism to them, I believe. Serious question, as I truly do not know the answer. Are there any writings by the Founders concerning abortion and their positions on it?

Excellent question.
I've challenged pro-abortion legal eagles to cough up something on it, and they can't. Like I said before, IMHO, it was literally an unspeakable evil back then, just as bestiality was, and satanism. The thought of it being legal didn't cross their minds, I think.
The perfect example would be how killing a pregnant woman was considered to be a double homicide in some states. If what I'm claiming is false, then women would have openly told the public that they had an abortion back then. I doubt you would find many examples, except for women locked up in insane asylums.
