You do not just push a button and whoosh change the judiciary. It takes a while,and it takes patience. Real pro-life conservatives are on the record as patient,and diligent and will be there for the big fights,but we are pragmatic and not going off half cocked. The fight has been long and hard and will continue,and we will win in the end. The reason we will back GOP is look at the alternative. I rest my case.

Given how far to the left the judiciary is, yes, you DO, if you are principled conservative, appoint a judge that will move the court to the right.

Did Clinton once fail to move the court to the left as far as he could? Why in world would you tolerate Bush not keeping his promise to move it to the right with Scalia-like justices?
