That Edith lady is beautiful. Clement? She is quite a looker.

I hate to be so superficial but... Fred Barnes wrote an article about the physical appearance of the nominee being a real factor. He theorized that this person will be on tv 24/7 and will need to be attractive to the public in order to gain support. Barnes mentioned that Judge Bork came off as mean and antagonistic which didn't help him warm to the public.

All this said Edith Jones comes off looking like the Church Lady and Edith Clements is quite attractive (NOT THAT IT SHOULD MATTER IMO):

Yes, Edith the Younger wins the beauty contest over Edith the elder hands down. But Edith I has it all over Edith II in the psychological/intestinal fortitude/"kiss my ass" you liberals department.
