That's the sad part. It shouldn't be that big of a deal. If you had told people in 1950 that five decades later Supreme Court nominees would be a huge deal because they're the ones who get to decide our laws on abortion, school prayer, sodomy, gay "marriage", and the membership practices of the Boy Scouts, they'd have thought you were insane.
And please add LAND RIGHTS to the mix. For goodness sake, they ignored 'public use'. I guess they consider a parking lot to be public use now.
