Demand Lockyer Take Anti-American Display Down! (CA)

I posted last week on the possibility that California Attorney General Bill Lockyer would display at his office some of Steven Pearcy's anti-american artwork.

Today News 10 did a story on it. You can read up on the details and see a picture of the painting there.

It is basically a map of The US painted like an American flag in a toilet. On the side it reads "T'anks to Mr. Bush"

The attorney general says he is just promoting free speech. But a display like this has no place in a government office.

Anyway, in responce I have started a petition to the Attorney General demanding that he take the offending artwork. The petition is here.

I encourage all of you, especially Californians, to sign it.

I was the person who started this controversy. I heard about this and e-mailed a talk host who got News 10 to do a story. So if it wasn't for me you probably never would have heard about this.
