PLANO - Three teenagers have been arrested after the stolen sports utility vehicle they were traveling in crashed into a Plano home and seriously injured a five-year-old boy.
Police would not release the names of the girl and two boys because they are juveniles, but said all three are 16 or younger.
Police said the SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed when it skidded across the front yard of a home on Silverstone Dr., belonging to Jason and Jennifer McNeely.
A family friend who arrived to the house Monday morning to check on the house said the family was at the hospital where the boy, Braden, had stabilized and remained in intensive care.
Police said the sleeping boy was trapped under the SUV, which crashed through his bedroom.

I will note that the folks who stole the car were, per the story 'traveling in the car' and were 'occupants', but there was nothing about them driving or being responsible for the wreck.
Where's Roger Corman when you really need him? I recall "Maximum Overdrive" with Emilio Estevez, but the villains in that piece were possesed 18-wheelers not SUVs.
Yeah, the SUV should have been charged.
I am curious how the SUV mananged to get itself stolen, in addition to being wrecked.
im surprized the SUV wasn't charged.
Stupid liberals.
I wish the SUV would have had more sense than that.
That's it.... we need a 15 day waiting period on SUVs
and a 20 year waiting period on Teens.
The stolen SUV didn't crash into the home. The kids who were driving it crashed the vehicle into the home. I hope the little boy will be OK..
Those SUVs are crafty, in addition to being just plain evil.
Are you still collecting attack SUV headlines?
As I recall, lawnmowers and ice cream trucks were also "possessed".
I hope the boy turns out OK. I also hope that these three wastes of life are put away for a long time.
Yeah, it reminds you of the "Man killed by gun" headlines, doesn't it? Looks like SUV's are now in the same class as guns.
Teens ram house; SUV charged.
Aggghhhh. These stories drive me nuts. Oh by the way... a little boy was injured. Jeez...
Of course, it's an SUV which has it's own demonic entity controling it, like Christine. The teens were merely occupants traveling in it, held captive in it because it locked them inside.
This is one of the better SUV stories, it leaves no doubt that the SUV was responsible for it's own actions.
The best use the three perps could be put to is to be disassembled for spares to be used in transplant surgery.
Why did they arrest the teenages? Reading the story, it sounds like the SUV did all the dirty work.
Hope the child will be ok.
"...Yeah, the SUV should have been charged...."
Drag it into court, gain a conviction, and throw the no good POS in jail and throw away the key.
That's the actual headline. Scary SUV's!!
