You've got it right; this is a crime. The damn teacher's unions want to make life easier for teachers. They are using these poor children to further their own lazy BS. And the morons known as 'black activists' are too stupid to see that, once again, they are being exploited - and not by those evil right-wingers, but by the very people who they think are their friends. The California educational establishment is totally messed up. Its completely backwards. You don't help people to prepare for careers by catering to the lowest common denominator. Maybe we should teach white NYC students how to speak like Leo Gorcy in the Bowery Boys - that will increase their self-esteem and make sure we have a steady supply of cheap, uneducated labor for years to come. (sarcasm, obviously)

I'm glad people are trying to "reach out" to students and understand them. But since when did we let the students dictate to the teachers? Don't get me started. I just can't see how this can help. Only hurt.
