Al-Qaida's U.S. Nuclear Targets
WorldNetDaily ^ | 7/18/05 | FROM JOSEPH FARAH'S G2 BULLETIN

Posted on 07/18/2005 3:39:51 AM PDT by Man50D

Al-Qaida's prime targets for launching nuclear terrorist attacks are the nine U.S. cities with the highest Jewish populations, according to captured leaders and documents.

As first revealed last week in Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin, the premium, online intelligence newsletter published by the founder of WND, Osama bin Laden is planning what he calls an "American Hiroshima," the ultimate terrorist attack on U.S. cities, using nuclear weapons already smuggled into the country across the Mexican border along with thousands of sleeper agents.

You two need to see #58, and take a chill pill.

If that litany of kool aid garbage is what you call not "left", then you are nuts. Virtually nothing that you postulate is true - It sounds like you plagiarized it from the NYT.

I don't see even a paper thin difference between you and Durbin, Boxer or Kennedy.

I stand by my assessment.

Actually, after a closer look at 58, I may be coming around to your view of things.

Still not a garden variety troll, though.

I am sorry, but fraternity pranks do not constitute atrocities as the Old Media claim. Only an idiot would equate these stunts with opposition actions.

Item 2: I see no evidence that the engagement in Iraq was a mistake. The surrounding muslim states are terrified that a representative republic might succeed, hence the reason many of the terrorists there are entering from outside the borders. If Iraq succeeds, their despotic rulers fail and they know this. President Bush knows that the terrorists must be fought on foreign soil, or we will fight them here and they won't be engaging our trained warriors, they will confront only unarmed civilians. Only a fool would wish otherwise.

The point about small-country or terrorist nuclear weapons - of either the 'dirty' or 'big bang' types - is that their use would wonderfully concentrate the US's attention on the user. This has not, in the past, proven to be a good idea.

"All are blue cities in blue states, except...? Miami and Vegas?"

Miami and Vegas have high Jewish demographics.

I agree, not a garden varity, but an EU type troll, as he pointed out.

He would be a BIG hit over at the DU, where his views are pretty much lockstep with them.

You are unaware of the "domino theory", the notion that bring freedom to a few countries in the middle east, the rest of the countries will be profoundly changed for the better. Much as Germany and Japan after WWII changed their surrounding countries for the better.

Freedom is a universal right.

The level of violence will not remain at the same level. IMO it will either get much worse or disappear off the face of the middle east.

The Tech side that you mention is one reason why I'm so skeptical of this story.

In fact, Saddam was on his last legs.

Welcome to FR Pat. Stick around and we'll bring you around.

There were rumors he had cancer before the war. It doesn't appear now that he did, or at least I've seen no reports of it.

He did have two sons he'd groomed for succession, who by all accounts were crueler than even he was. They're dead now, and that's a good thing.

I appreciate your honesty even though I couldn't disagree more. Given your statement Iraq wasn't a breeding ground for terrorists I suggest you read the following article:Exclusive: Saddam Possessed WMD, Had Extensive Terror Ties

The breeding ground you refer to is located in Syria and Iran. Iraq is the result. It may very well take several years to implement Democracy as it did with Germany and Japan after World War II but none of us knows exactly how long it will take. The death toll in Iraq will be far less than it will be in the U.S. if we pull our troops out of Iraq. The only corner we could paint ourselves into is by not meeting terrorism head on in Iraq or any country. Iraq was a failed state under the twenty five year rule of a tyrannical dictator. There is no failing in given citizens a voice in their own destiny. Hearts and minds are in the process of being changed but it will take a long time. Shock and awe took only three weeks to defeat Saddam Hussein. If that isn't success I don't know what is success.

So you like what we did for Europe, but don't want to give Middle Easterners the same opportunity?

Got it.

This attitude takes courage and can bring you into trouble more easily than when you sit comfortably in some camp left or right.

I respectfully disagree. It doesn't take courage to voice your opinion in a democracy that not only permits people to speak their minds but encourages debate. It would be courageous if you expressed a dissenting point of view in Iran.

Miami is Blue, but the state is Red.

I thought that Osama promised he'd not attack any state that voted for Kerry.

I guess that shows what his promises are worth.

That is precisely the reason we must elect a strong, warrior leader for a president. Nothing else matters.

Especially not a wussy appeaser.

Once again Farah comes out almost hoping for a nuclear attack on the Untied States. Last time it was the Iranian EMP strike he was predicting now it is Al Qaeda nukes.

Farah is nothing but an fear mongering, attention seeking whore, who writes for a kook website. Anyone who takes him seriously :cough, cough: Tom Tancredo :cough, cough: needs to have their heads examined.
