Put a badge on some people and they think their God....like the libs....I have always thought that Maine was a pretty state....been there often...they have some of the best seafood in the world...guess I won't be going there now...and I don't smoke...

It's been hell.

ALL Maine restaurants were forced into a smoking ban in 2000.  Then, the anti's forced a total smoking ban across the state in January of 2004. (Bars, sports inns, bowling alleys, nightclubs).

No longer do I go out to eat.  No longer do I linger over coffee and a cigarette in my favorite restaurant or sports bar.

But, I'm saving tip money.  I just order out or bring food home.  But I miss going out to breakfast and dinner.  Oh well.

So true, I was lucky enough to move to California when they started in with the smoker bashing brainwashing.. Wife and I learned that when we ate out, we ate, Paid, ran out, and did not spend another second in the place.

Now that I am in Nevada, it took us time to get used to sitting after a meal and having a smoke. Its very relaxing and I really missed it. Nothing better than a smoke and a cup of coffee after a nice dinner out.

We also go out to eat alot more than we used to in Kalifornistan :)
