If you did not see Matthew Coopers performance this morning on Meet the Press, you should have, because it gave away the plot for the attack on Karl Rove.
Cooper flat-out lied when he told Tim Russert that he first heard the identity of Joe Wilsons wife from Rove. Rove never mentioned the womans name, only that Wilsons wife worked for the CIA. He never said who that woman was.
Cooper, clearly under orders to keep the fake-scandal alive, told that whopper to Tim Russert, because without it, the story would die a quick death.
Remember what is going on here.
This is not about Rove, it is about the Supreme Court. The goal is not to just get Rove as some are saying, but to create an environment where the Democrats can garner enough public opinion to begin arguing that George Bush should not be allowed to set the direction of the Supreme Court while under this cloud of suspicion.
The Democrats are working toward connecting the fake Rove Scandal to Bush, which can only happen after Karl Roves security clearance is revoked. If that happens, the Democrats can then accuse Rove of nefarious activities which he will not be able to defend against without the ability to either access or reference classified material. The Democrats want Roves clearance so that he can be framed.
So what you saw today, was the husband of one of Hillary Clintons main lieutenants lying on television to keep a dying story alive. Matthew Cooper is without credibility and should not be trusted.
Before anyone asks me, none of the above is the product of my personal opinion.
Okay. . .I said why the guys I know are pissed at Wilson (Post 146). . . .now, how about you. Why are the guys you know pissed and at who?
PD - true. Dubya's playin' Texas hold'em.
dan, remember the adage, "keep your friends close, your enemies closer" - the dhimmicrats are flushed into the open, our Prez is just linin' them up for a good session of skeet shootin'.
So. . they are pissed at the agency they work at?
Right.
Gotcha.
Believe whatever suits you.
No other way to read "Did the CIA Out Valerie Plame?"
