Mr. Rove appeared considerably merrier, where he made a show of his trademark pranks. During a tour of a cotton yarn plant, Mr. Rove tapped a reporter on the shoulder and then handed him a bottle of Tylenol, apparently pulled out of an open pocket in the reporter's backpack. Then Mr. Rove said that the reporter looked like he could use the painkiller.
Rove making fool of the media to NYTimes' dismay.

Some of us are not logged in with the NYT Anita. Could you give us a quick rundown on what the piece says? How do you come up with this stuff all the time? You really are on the ball.

Come on Fox! I rely on you to give me some balance to MTP. I guess I will try to catch Mehlman defend himself and his party from 5 muggers. 5 to 1, probably is actually a fair fight.

It's always a close call which is harder: having them in hospital or out. Very true have not got the trek to the hospital every day but more to do at home for him.

Thanks again for providing this weekly thread. QUESTION: Is there some law that only dems can be featured on Sunday Morning Talk shows?
Ahhhhhh. CBS gives the Wilson/Schumer clown act another camera. Another Joe...Biden is his name...is losing ground...only 1 appearance today. :o)

It's kind of funny that Podesta is on with Mehlman and Howard Dean isn't to be found anywhere.
Mehlman would cream Howie in a debate.

A minute into MTP and it's already off to a bad start.

I have to leave for Mass in a few minutes. I love to read this thread in the afternoon.
Count on Freepers to pick up the intentional errors of those spewing the liberal line.

Indeed now we have to sort out the medication that caused most of the problems in the first place.
From the the report of VP's second part of his annual check up it sounds as if some of his medication is giving him trouble with acid in the stomach, so it goes to show that the body's reaction to medicine has no respect of age or position.

Good question, and one I believe everyone would like answered. Maybe the RNC has an answer, or one of the Senators or Representatives that someone knows.
To: anita
I think this will turn out as I suspected earlier. Rove is always three or four steps ahead of the rat media. The Tylenol thing is priceless.I registered.

We Chris Mathews voyeurs/sadists witnessed an exceptional display of delusion this week.
Except on the question of whether Rove will be tossed from the WH. His panel of experts predicted 10-2 that Rove will stay. I take that to mean they know Rove is not implicated, but Chrissy refuses to face reality.
His closing lecture was particulary haughty, chastising voters for electing W because of the important decisions a leader must make. He doesn't get it that that's exactly why we elected W.... to keep knee-jerk liberals like him distant from any adult decisions.

That will be something to see as they roll all over ol' Bob Schieffer on CeeBS. Rod, that wouldn't be possible. You can't roll over a willing accomplice. Don't trust Schieffer, he's a Dan Rather clone. Remember his "Purple-faced Rage" comment about Clinton in the August 1998 video deposition? Schieffer never once apologized for that blatant lie.

FYI, my thyroid was destroyed at the same time GHW Bush had his killed. I'll guarantee you he got better treatment than I did during it all. LOL
