He has refused numerous times, every time he's asked. I'd sure like to see him under oath telling to tell the truth and subject to cross examination.

Podestra: "The president said he would fire the LEAKER not the LAWBREAKER."

Podestra really sounds like he is grasping at straws. If no laws were broken, Rove must still go! LOL...

Spector's hearing on The Shield Law this week will take on new significance because Cooper is testifying. EXPECT THE DEMOCRATS TO TURN IT INTO A BASH ROVE PHOTO OP.

This is exactly what Rush calls idiotic. Specter, McCain, Graham usually grand stand like this when Republicans get beat & when dems. like Durbin, Kerry, Byrd or Reid make any blunders these same fools go to their defense like McCain did on Dubin's case.

Bush got majority for you. Behave like you are in majority & show some loyalty to party.

and be able to smack down some of these morons they have on there. (Robet Pape is also a LIBERAL College Professor in Chicago for "Political Science and International Security Affairs

In which case it is clear Pape is grossly unqualified for his position. Again, HERE is why we are in Iraq.

In the war on Terrorism, we have a hidden foe, spread
out across a geographically diverse area, with covert sources of supply. Since
we cannot go everywhere they hide out, we need to draw them out of hiding into a
kill zone. Iraq is that kill zone. That is the true brilliance of the Iraq
strategy. We draw the terrorists out of their world wide hiding places onto a
battlefield they have to fight on for political reasons (The "Holy" soil of the
Arabian peninsula) where they have to pit their weakest ability (Conventional
Military combat power) against our greatest strength (ability to call down
unbelievable amounts of firepower) where they will primarily have to fight other
forces (the Iraqi Security forces) in a battlefield that is hostile to guerilla
warfare. (Iraqi-mostly open terrain as opposed to guerrilla friendly areas like
the mountains of Afghanistan or the jungles of SE Asia).

The correct analogy to the pipelines thur Syria and Iran are to processing
chutes of a slaughter house. In a slaughter house, cattle are drawn from a wide
geographical area concentrated into a single processing line and moved to their
destruction. Iraq is a slaughter house for terrorists.

All the former nations under 'Britian's wing' have adopted the basic premise of equality under the law. The European's colonies (most of South America) show the fallacy of the Franco/Germanic philosophy.

Of course, indirect is the only way the Franco/Germanic philosophy can be foisted upon us... and it is happening very fast now. After all, even Bush doubled the funding for the Dept of Education his first term. He raised spending 11% BEFORE 9/11.

I'm afraid I do not trust DC regardless of who is in charge. The Republican congress recently gave us a national ID card -- Real ID. My Congressman laughed and said its only to stop illegal immigration. He has no idea.

I also hear how the Patriot Act (library records) has never been used. But RICO shows how Acts can be misused.

Michael Cloud: "the problem isn't the abuse of power, it's the power to abuse -- that whenever you give good politicians the power to do good, you automatically give future politicians the power to do bad."

Wilson...another lie.

NO ONE, not neighbors or friends, knew his wife worked at the CIA.

Now call me Pollyanna, but I KNOW there are reporters out there who knew and who now know that's a bald faced lie.

Now he's saying he DID NOT say VP Cheney sent him to Niger. No, he didn't. But everytime he popped up on TV, the Rats followed him with just THAT talking point. And he didn't correct them.

MEET THE PRESS

Ken Mehlman doesn't even get equal time...he's sharing the desk with John Podesta. I love Mehlman's passion. chewing on Kerry, Hillary, and Reid for rushing to judgement on Rove, based on speculation.

Russert is going after Rove on another front. "Unauthorized disclosure". namely, that Rove could be in trouble for telling reporter about Plame without finding out if it was declassified information.

Russert is really going silly. 3 times Russert demands that Mehlman pledge he will accept it without fighting, if Fitzgerald indicts a White House official. Russert showed his colors on this.

But to his credit, Russert calls Podesta on Wilson's lies. Of course did not follow up, and allowed Podesta to ramble.

(Former Clinton staffer Podesta is now chairman of one of George Soros front organizations)

More tough repeat from Russert and piling on by Podesta, on Scott McClellan's statement that Rove, Libby, and Abrams weren't involved. Mehlman does a great job of explaining, but Russert will not accept it.

I love Mehlman listing out the lies Wilson told, 1, 2, 3, he hit them all, and said Podesta blew those lies off. Mehlman reminded viewers, Wilson even wondered publically who would play him in the movie?

thankfully Russert reminds Podesta of Clinton's testimony before the Grand Jury, but does NOT say Clinton was found guilty of perjury.

Russert shows poll. (he always resorts to polls, doesn't he?) Mehlman has refuting poll numbers of his own. Way to go Mehlman!! (This guy really is good). I love it that he says, "the other side doesn't have an agenda". Says if I put out a million dollar reward, no one could find a democrat agenda). BIG Finish!!

The MSM is supposed to REPORT the news, not MAKE it.

The false meme that the media's role is to objectively report was planted by the media. It puts the institution in a superior postion (i.e., "elite" as are government officials, as opposed to "the ignorant masses") that would not exist but for their creation of it.

But there never was such a thing as an objective media. The media has always manufactured news to suit its objectives. We'd be better off with openly partisan media, where the public has to make up its mind based on widely diverging presentations.

The new DNC talking point is that this is NOW a national security issue.

The reason for this is the Democrat ("gay") Party is seeing and feeling they can use the Rove non issue to say GWBush is weak on security.

Their faux outrage is comical given the carter and clinton years of GUTTING the intelligence services.

Next Hitlary clinton going after Grand Theft Auto will be a national security issue.

Seems to me that Mr. Wilson getting authority to do ANYTHING involving national secuirty is a breach of secuity. Whatever he alegedly did in the past, his creditials are VASTLY over rated.
