Nina Easton is on Fox News Sunday - she's the one from the Boston Globe who wrote the book about John Kerry - she's a rump swab for the dems

Mara's "understudy"---"Karl Rove was a secondary source. We don't know who the primary source is, yet."

Russert: "Will Karl Rove survive?"
Geeeze, certainly not if Russert can prevent it...

Today's show is a classic example of the difference between the inside the beltway crowd and the rest of the country.

"Podesta just said McClelland and Rove's credibility are in shreds"
This is why I cannot watch the Talk Shows any more. The Leftist goes out there and spews out their feelings and opinions as if they were the divine word of God and NO one ever calls them on it. Just ONCE, I would like either the token Republican or the Host to say "Well...insert name of hysteric leftist here.....it is nice you have about opinions about Karl Rove, but I think we should stick to the facts here."

Wishful thinking on his part.

Mathews didn't use those words, but it is clearly what he meant....implying W would appoint nasties to the SC who would ruin our lives, implying the President put political partisanship above national security (Rove).
As Rush says, 180 degrees out of phase. As I would say, ass backwards.

They just can't believe that this story isn't going anywhere. The anti-Dubya MSM figured out two days ago that the best they can do is make this into a he said/he said matter [a draw]. They figure the public will only focus on the headlines and will draw the conclusion that something dark and sinister happened at the WH, but the media hasn't been able to nail them on it.
The prosecutor can go either way: release enough info to exonnerate Rove et al...or issue an inconclusive report playing right into the MSM's angle.
(Of course, he could indict someone, too...but we don't know enough to go there yet.)

If anyone has MTP coming up and wants to get the latest dem talking points, be sure to watch. Podesta thinks that Valerie Plame's identity was of utmost national security importance and since Rove confirmed something about it, we are all in danger, and Rove is doing a disservice to the President (like Podesta cares about that)and should do the honorable thing and resign. Now Timmy is on to Watergate, just so we are sure to "get" the connection.

They're trying to put up a rear guard action to protect their retreating troops.

I couldn't believe what you wrote since it was the slimes but they actually did write "Karl Rove's version of events now looks less like a smear and more like the truth."
An amazing admission by one of the rats stalwart allies in the war on GW.

The polls, this one in particular, is a bit ominous. Sorry to say. I know, let me have it....

I found Mr. Pape's comment that the "Suicide Bombing Vest" originated with the Tamil Tigers. HOWEVER...................
I disagree completely with his ONLY solution to our current problems: The complete withdrawal of Western Military forces from the Middle East.

If I walked down the street and asked the first ten people I met who Joe Wilson is I'd be stunned if more than one person knew.
