I don't know, but it seems to me, given the issues being ignored by both Demoncrats and Republicans (illegal immigration, border security, SS reform,
fundamental tax reform, etc.) and the continuing WDC juvenile "cat fights") that'08 would be none too soon.

There are a lot of visceral issues that the PC crowd won't touch. I hope that We the People can reach out and touch the PC crowd and send them home in '08!

I really do feel that it is time for us to take our country back!

Third party time?
Have you ever stopped and imagined the party that would be created out of those leftover Democrats?
Now that is scary. It gets even scarier if you imagine them winning a presidential election!

"I was driving past the Pentagon when that plane hit" on Sept. 11, 2001. "I had friends on that plane; this is deadly serious to me," Begala said.
When you look at the passenger list you have to wonder just who he is talking about.
Not too many of those folks would even be in the same social circles as him.
BKO? I doubt it. The retired admiral, the physician, the lawyer, the director of research...? Interested people need more clarification.
An interesting aside...Leslie A. Whittington, 45, was from University Park, Maryland. The professor of public policy at Georgetown University in Washington was traveling with her husband, Charles Falkenberg...
Another married woman traveling under/using something other than her married name.

"Franklin Roosevelt got us in World War II. They dragged the Republicans kicking and screaming. They didn't want to get in that war. They didn't have any problem with Hitler. I won't go so far as to say they thought Hitler rocked. But there were people in America who did, and they didn't want us to get in that war. Democrats have always been just as tough as Republicans once they're in office," Frank said.
Frank is a Revisionist. After 12-7 nobody had a problem going to war.
On the other hand, is Frank stating that FDR did in fact manipulate commodities thus forcing Japan into a war footing? Not a very good thing for a POTUS to do and not something Democrats should be proud of.

And I simply loved the examples given in the article of just who it was who thought "Hitler rocked".

If they were then that would make interesting news, wouldn't it.

They are becoming more like the Federalist, which lost support for not supporting events leading tot he war of 1812. By 1838 they were gone and the Republican part was founded in 1846. With the demos gone we can finally get into a debate on what is right with this country and why we should be proud to be Americans!

Ex-Clinton Aide Charges Republicans 'Want to Kill Us'

Why is it that when Demorats make such retarded statements they are considered newsworthy.

DUstbunny...

Come on!

If a Republican had made such statements, it would have been on the front page of the NY Times, LA Times, Newsweek, etc for a week.

This story has only run on Fox news and they have dropped it after one day.

How could Begala be ex-Clinton? He's still breathing, isn't he? I thought there was only one way out.

They have lost, already.
They just don't know it yet.
What we are witnessing is the Demoncrat Dying FRenzy.

One of my favorite quotes is from Euripides: "Those whom God wishes to destroy, He first makes mad."

So, given the irrational rants coming from the Democrat Party, I think you're exactly right.

Are you implying that a Third Party to the left of the LIEberal/Socialist/Marxist Democrat Party might come into national prominence in '08?

I don't think that particular scenario will come to pass.

I do think that '08 might be fertile ground for a true conservative Third Party, however. But we must be "vewy, vewy careful." A well financed, very strong, very charismatic third party conservative could win in '08, IMHO.

But, it has to be done correctly or, we'll wind up replaying the '92 election.

I.e., a third party got us Bill Clinton in '92.

Hitlery is hoping a third party (of the conservative persuasion) comes into play in '08.

We must be damn careful to avoid repeating that particular piece of American History!

Not in the least. They don't have enough time to get it together for '08. I was trying to get the other poster to consider what the makeup of such a party would look like. He may very well have been talking about a conservative third party, but his reply didn't indicate one or the other.
However, in that note, '12 might offer a very good possibility for your scenario. If the Dems are handed a thorough trashing in '08 and a more conservative block of Democrats should gain position then the power brokers/money men of the radical left may just form their own third party. They'll have been stymied and locked out of power and see no other way to regain their desired position. Considering the money and influence that has been pushed around in the last few years a new left liberal party does appear to be their only recourse to acheive their aims.
As to the third party conservatives (Libertarians and/or Constitution Party) chance in '08 I say, no way. They'll continue to get trounced by the big parties nationally and should recognize that. They should continue to run and win as they are in local elections. They've not yet gained enough ground/recognition to become mainstream and if I were in their position I'd wait to make the national push until another liberal third party group of approximate recognition came into the fray. It would give them a viable opponent, open the election to a more equal footing for all parties and keep both the Republicans and the Democrats from gaining too much of an advantage on the national level.
(if they weren't at such opposite ends of the spectrums on some issues they could consolidate and become stronger. as it is it won't happen)
A four way race is so much more interesting than the two way race we currently have.
