Chicago-area immigrants settle lawsuit with Homeland Security
CHICAGO: Some notary publics allegedly took advantage of residents, jeopardizing their status

CHICAGO | Illegal immigrant Fermin Gutierrez shelled out $1,500 after a notary public said he could get the Mexican national U.S. residency within months, instead of the years the green-card process normally takes.
But months later, Gutierrez started getting letters from the federal government saying that he illegally filed for residency and could be deported. That's when he knew the notary had cheated him.
"I was asking myself, 'How was it that I had fallen for this?"' Gutierrez said through a translator.
Gutierrez, 33, is one of about 5,000 Chicago-area immigrants affected by a recent class action settlement with the Department of Homeland Security that makes them eligible for a $1,000 reimbursement. The settlement also allows illegal immigrants to ask that the federal government stop trying to deport them.

...and I guess the reasoning of not being able to deport them now is that the government has "poisoned the tree" with accepting the application for cash.
I agree... and the 'Rats and RINOs who entice them to cross the border and violate the laws of the USA should also be doing perp walks, IMHO.

Gutierrez and his fellow Illegal Mexican Hombres should have stayed down in the homeland they truly love, and exercised a little "...faith in God" to fight the oppressive, tyrannical and corrupt ruling-elite class in Mexico who have kept them in poverty and despair, with a heal squarely on their neck for well over a hundred years.
They need to face facts that their hatred toward the 'Gringo' is misdirected ... their ruling-class Euro-Spanish-Elites are the ones they need to direct their anger toward, not us folks up here in Estados Unidos.
I told an Illegal neighbor to stand up and be a man. You and your buddies need to buy guns and ammo up here in the U.S. where they are legal, and go back down and fight your own damn revolution like my Forefathers had to do. Earn your own freedom, instead of coming up here and stealing off of ours.
He had little reply as we both knew he and his fellow Illegals find it much easier to rip off the stupid Gringo than it ever would be to take on the Federales.
I disagree. We should prey on them. It is our good nature and hospitality that is killing this country.
Also, they should have been deported immediately and not given a $1,000 of my tax money. That's just BS!!!
