To quote a former newsmamn, "Courage."

I have noticed on several threads you have been a bit concerned. You should take your cue from the President, who has been quite jolly.

political pressure mounts

I think they meant to say the socialist media hysteria mounts.

There is no pressure on Bush to do anything at all.

One day what the NYT is trying to do will be a crime.

What political pressure? From the "Traitor/Treason" Democrat Party and their MSM bootlickers? Forget it!!! Karl Rove is here to stay, and the Democrat Party looks like the absolute fools and morons they are. End of story!!!

This headline sounds so "watergate" style. Got to wonder how many "deep throats" are still entrenched within the Bush administration.

And just where is that "political pressure" coming from? Seems to me that at least half of it can be said to coming from the MSM. And, that's NOT their job.

It is the end of the story, but all of those you mentioned are still at it. I keep forgetting, we stupid people out here don't notice things like that.

I was dividing the "pressure" equally between the MSM and lib/dems. But, it's probably more like 100% of both!

The real issue is how Elizabeth or is it Elisabeth is mum on the antics of her media colleagues who are looking sleazier and sleazier on this topic. Come on, Elisabeth, speak up.

Bush exhibits the same attitude that Rheinquist's famous quote when the reporters were hounding him about his retirement: "It's for me to know and you to find out".

"This headline sounds so "watergate" style."

When I read your post, I had just read the following post. The excerpt I posted from the article just cracked me up! BTW, the article calls this Rove silliness "nadagate".

"Got to wonder how many "deep throats" are still entrenched within the Bush administration."

I imagine most of the existing "deep throats" are in the Clinton Crowd.

-snip-"At the time her name was printed, her face was still not that familiar even to most Washington veterans, but that soon changed. When her husband received a "truth-telling" award at a Nation magazine luncheon, he wept as he told of his sorrow at his wife's loss of anonymity. Then he introduced her to the crowd.
"And then, for any enemy agents who missed seeing her face at the luncheon but had an Internet connection, she posed with her husband for a photograph in Vanity Fair."

"I imagine most of the existing "deep throats" are in the Clinton Crowd."

I believe there is a Lewinsky joke somewhere in there.

the dems are pulling out all of their research and attacks on pubbies:

1. rove
2. arnold--on front page of usa2day, friday, bend over.
3. melman--ditto, bottom of fold, quoted as saying republicans made mistake about race.
4. randy "duke" cunningham, knew the rules but broke them. pulled down by democrat lionnesses on the african veld.
5. tom delay--continuing attack by ronnie earle. ronnie sued kaye bailey hutchinson when she was tx secy of state, but failed to show up in court.
6. supposed election malfeasance in ohio.

etc.

all of these are to create the impression in the emotions of tv viewers just before the u.s. supreme court hearings that republicans are crooked.
