In my view the man has realistic concerns.

The courts ordered his custody and detainment without a trial. Now how is that a good thing again?

Thanks. So he ended up pleading "no contest" on the charges, including conspiracy to kill a federal agent, and it would appear that he is now out of prison.
Hey. This is a non-border thread. What are you doing here? :)
Looks like he copped a very special plea according to this:

Just visiting. :~)
Good tagline. In this neck of the woods, it isn't just idle talk.
Prison psychiatrists stated that Dr. Sell was delusional, partly because he believed the U.S. government engaged in a conspiracy concerning the fire at the Branch Davidian settlement in Waco, Texas, which killed 81 people. Dr. Sell produced Army records proving that he had indeed been sent to Waco in the days leading up to the fire. He believed the reason was to help identify charred remains.
Did you notice the irony in the article I posted. 8 years was so long that the original sentence reads held 8 months without a trial. 8 years is immpossible to believe in normal circumstances.
I do hope you are not serious.
>>>Earlier this year, a government psychologist declared Sell mentally fit for trial. Apparently, that medical opinion was unsatisfactory to Sell's persecutors, and to everyone's surprise that government psychologist reversed his diagnosis without re-examining him, and declared Sell unfit for trial.
An independent psychiatrist then confirmed Sell's own view that he was fit for trial, and the court agreed and scheduled a trial for Nov. 29. But on Nov. 22, lawyers insisted Sell was not ready for trial and persuaded a judge to cancel it. <<<<
Just to clarify on this thread, a psychologist is not MEDICAL. A psychiatrist IS MEDICAL.
This whole article is very odd.
FYI ping to a very odd article.
Odd FYI ping.
