Lol.....here's a news flash for ya, sweetpea.
The Texas state flag IS a Confederate battle flag.
I reckon that makes you the same as a Mexican.
Godebert , notice the battle flag is square .
I am an American and only support the Texas Flag!
You might live in Texas.......but you dang sure ain't no Texan.
More than you, punk.
either do some reading from "other than LEFTIST/REVISIONIST sources" and/or stay away from the WBTS threads.
OR you could tell us all why someone telling the TRUTH about south-HATERS/DAMNyankees and portraying dixie in a positive light "torques you off".
the frank & simple truth is that we southrons are NOT going away AND we don't care if you're "torqued off".

They rebelled. Even a half-assed historian such as yourself should know that.
But of course the war began because of the election of the Republicans and Lincoln. I think you will agree that had not LINCOLN been there, there would have been no warships in Charleston.
The war began when the southern forces fired on Sumter. I'm beginning to wonder if you are even an historian at all.
How about "the isolation by a warring nation of an enemy area (as a harbor) by troops or warships to prevent passage of persons or supplies; broadly : a restrictive measure designed to obstruct the commerce and communications of an unfriendly nation?" Does that work?
Sure. Rebellion is open, armed, and usually unsuccessful defiance of or resistance to an established government. I'm surprised that any historian, even an inept one, would have a problem looking that up in a dictionary.
I think it would also be interesting to debate the start of the war........so could you point us to the legal definition of the start of the war please.
Why Goodwad, you're the 'historian'. Why don't you present your legal definition of the start of the war? Isn't that your job? Or don't you know?
You seem to selectively disagree with my historical presentations. Would that be because you are limited in your knowledge or that you have mixed opinions, i.e. you seem to agree with my contention that Lincoln was rushing food to starving soldiers, but you steadfastly want to focus on the concept of slavery and the firing on Ft. Sumter to be the origin of all the evils of the war. Does that sum up your thinking?
Not even close. Now come on. Fess up. Your claim to be an historian is a joke, right? You're pulling our leg?
My *ss is completely intact.
And where you head apparently resides.
"Nah...don't prosecute it as a hate crime. Just publish the names of the the perps, make & model of the cars they drive along w/ the tag number."
Yeah.
Then air-drop them and their vehicle into the right neighborhood in Georgia or Alabama. No questions asked.
What dirtballs.
Freedom of speech is finie with some people as long as they agree with the speech.
"Keep the damned thing south of the Mason-Dixon line where it belongs."
Ah, the ever tolerant and enlightened northerner. Youse never fail to reinforce the stereotype.
