POLL ON SUPREME COURT REPLACEMENT FOR O'CONNER -- SMALL TOWN NEWSPAPER -- HELP
The Shelbyville Times-Gazette ^ | 15 July 2005

Posted on 07/15/2005 9:21:00 AM PDT by MeneMeneTekelUpharsin

Dear Freepers,

I NEVER ask for help on a poll. However, an online newspaper, the Shelbyville Times-Gazette in Shelbyville, TN, has posted a poll on a replacement for Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Conner. They have several selections which might be of interest to some Freepers and would be a fun poll to "crash". Enjoy yourselves, it is found here:

Thanks in advance.

TOPICS: Government; News/Current Events
KEYWORDS: nominee; oconner; poll; supremecourt
Have at it ladies and gentlemen.

Oh, did I forget to mention? Shelbyville is a HOTBED of the Democrat Party. Al Gore has PERSONAL friends who live in that city. We're not talking just political supporters, but "buds". It is the very essence of Socialism in action. Go to it, folks.

I went to look, but can't buy any of the choices.

We do need judicial activism in order to roll back forty years of Marxist Deconstruction.

I don't really like the choices, but I voted for the closest one.
I hate that they've made this simply about Roe. For me, that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Where is the choice: Must base decisions on the Constitution?

Well, Shelbyville doesn't really give the non-elites much of a choice. Probably, "Not a judicial activist" would do, I guess.
