According to Sky News the mastermind behind the London bombings has been captured in Cairo.
They said he was a chemistry student at North Carolina.
SUSPECT HELD IN EGYPT
Scotland Yard has confirmed that a man who allegedly made the bombs used in the London attacks has been arrested in Egypt.
American television company ABC reported that the man, believed to have had a central role in making the explosive devices, had been held near Cairo and was being questioned.
'Good Morning America' said authorities believed the man had left Britain two weeks before the London explosions on July 7.
The report said authorities were eager to learn whether more than one bomb-maker had been involved and whether more bombs had been made.
Earlier, police in Britain said they wanted to speak to an Egyptian scientist, thought to have links to a Leeds flat being searched by anti-terrorist officers.
The flat is located in Hyde Park, where 600 residents were evacuated on Tuesday so police and Army experts could carry out a controlled explosion.
It is understood his connection to the flat may be totally innocent and police would simply like to speak to him as part of the wider inquiry
Nope!
He'll have to stay there for interrogation!
You know what that means!

Leeds University has confirmed that it awarded a PhD to a man police are looking for in connection with the London bombings.
Magdy Elnashar, an Egyptian chemist, is thought to have links to a Leeds flat being searched by anti-terrorist officers, although there has been no official confirmation of this.
The flat is located in Hyde Park area of the city, where 600 residents were evacuated on Tuesday, as police and army experts carried out a controlled explosion to enter the house on Alexandra Grove. It is understood his connection to the flat may be totally innocent and police would simply like to speak to him as part of the wider inquiry.
Dr Elnashar had been a PhD student at the university since autumn 2000, the university said in a statement. "His subject was development of a novel matrix for the immobilisation of enzymes for biotechnology, and he was sponsored by the National Research Centre in Cairo, Egypt.
"He submitted in February this year and was awarded his PhD on May 6. We understand he was seeking a post-doctoral position in the UK, and that his visa was updated by the Home Office early this year. He has not been seen on the campus since the beginning of July," it said.
All details about Dr Elnashar have been removed from the university's website. A spokeswoman said this was normal practice after a student had left.
In the past year he had also received financial support from Yorkshire Forward - the regional development agency. In a separate statement, Yorkshire Forward said: "We can confirm that Dr Magdy Elnashar was awarded a bioscience Yorkshire enterprise fellowship, supported by Yorkshire Forward, in 2004.
"This fellowship was to assist his investigation into developing a new biocatalyst and to take such a product to market for industrial use. As a fellow, Dr Magdy Elnashar was entitled to financial support of up to £30,000.
"However, none of this was accessed, and his only involvement with the scheme was his attendance at four workshops organised by the fellowship. The last of these was on January 24 2005," the statement added.
A man who knew the scientist told the Yorkshire Post: "He was extremely charming and very intelligent, a very typical Egyptian with perfect manners. He was obviously quite a brilliant chemist."
The man said there was "nothing remotely sinister" about his work. "It's like making margarine. It's straightforward and highly commercial," he told the paper.
It is thought Dr Elnashar may have returned to Egypt.
Looks like they found him.
Hopefully, they do. Man, these Brits are good!
Bad move on "The Chemists" part.
I wonder if this mastermind was also seen on CCTV as some point.
One of her claims: IDs of these people may be false, taken from people murdered during Kuwait invasion and provided to terrorist orgs. She claims that's why there are so many familial connections between them. If I can find them I'll post or others with better memories/archives.
He went back to his native Cairo!
Now his ass is gonna get tortured.
I've read that book!
The ID's taken off the Kuwaiti bodies is VERY interesting.
Suspicion continues to mount over the disappearance of an Egyptian chemistry lecturer who was studying at Leeds University.
Magdy El-Nashar, 33, has not been since the bombings and is said to have rented a home in Beeston, which Jamal at one point also lived in. The bombers are all said to have befriended each other at a youth-orientated community centre in Beeston
Its also emerged that Nashar who is understood to have returned to his native Cairo, studied in the US at North Carolina University between January and May 2000, university spokesman Mick Kulikowski confirmed.
Whew! Well, that ends that threat once and for all.
/sarcasm
Now he's rotting in jail.
