Okay, folks, hold on to your hats. This may be the craziest thing I have done yet on FreeRepublic.
I am publicly naming Steven D. Lavine of the CIA and will even post his picture.
I challenge moveon and all of the whackjobs in their freak show to come to Upland and demonstrate in front of my office. I dare them to contact the FBI and demand that I be brought before a grand jury. BRING IT ON, LOSERS!
Lavine has been at his post since 1988. He has been with the Rockefeller Foundation, was a professor at the University of Michigan, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association. Who would suspect his connection with the CIA?
Perhaps most startling is that Lavine has co-edited, with Ivan Karp, the collections Exhibiting Cultures: The Poetics and Politics of Museum Display and Museums and Communities: The Politics of Public Culture.
There you go, moveon. There you go, Chuckie Schumer. There you go, Harry Reid. Come and get me!

I guess he is supposed to be on our side, but he is one arrogant, condescending piece of work. And of course, he is not usually hostile.

Possibly one of their departments. I hope the school has improved since six years ago.

I've met a number of people from the
CIA. If I post their names and "cover" jobs here, will I get in trouble too?

I was somewhat surprised by your hostility, since I don't ever remember jumping on your case. I usually reserve that for the leftists and other RAT visitors. After looking through some of your posts, now I understand. I guess No. 34 pretty much shows us who you are. Most people on this forum who share ideas and values are people with whom I would like to sit down and enjoy a beer. Sorry to say, but I don't think you are one of them.
Telling us you're not generally hostile? Please.
Sorry to all the rest of the FReepers for my reaction to your initial post. It wasn't worthy of a comment, and I shouldn't have done it.

I quit eating meat in 1991 and don't really miss it. For awhile, I didn't even eat fish, but salmon really is good for my heart. It works for me, but I'm no PETA crazy and don't demand that others follow my lead.

Besides, it leaves more meat for me! lol

Valerie Plame's super-secret undercover role with the CIA was apparently to play the role of the ditzy housewife of a US diplomat, gliding through party after party and plying foreign diplomats with alcohol to see what tidbits of information she could get from them that might interest the CIA.
Good thing there was no sex involved. It's not, after all, like Valerie was Pussy Galore and Wilson was James Bond.

Good that you clicked. :) I think a few people are still convinced that I might have commited a crime. The only potential crime is this vanity post. At least, it would be a crime to some here who don't appreciate sticking it to the other side.

I clicked and then did a search. His connection to the CIA is encoded throughout the bio.

I'll say, I tried the old prison camp trick of urinating on the monitor and could read the secret message plain as day.
