The stalemate plays into the hands of the Dems - they can simply drag this story along in the MSM, feeding the sheeple a daily dose of "Rove lied", "Bush covered up" for days on end. Then when Fitzgerald shuts down the show in October, and the somenew facts come out, they bury the story on page 19. In the meantime, they can conduct a daily smear campaign.
