I think impeachment is the goal or at least a black spot so large President Bush will be known for nothing else.

Events are too coordinated to be part of a continuously breaking news story. The events are unfolding in a way that leads me to believe is very methodical.
The hatred consuming the left in DC is unlike anything I could have ever imagined. I'm guessing you and I are about the same age. I can remember a time when the Office of the President was treated with such respect. Now the Minority leader calls him a liar and a loser in front of school kids for God's sake.
It goes back to 2000, the successes Bush had in spite of 9/11, the GOP gains, etc.
In some ways they are like the terrorists...they can wait. Bang the drum often, no matter how long it takes. Sooner or later it will stick.
I do believe impeachment is in the plan. I have heard more comparisons to Watergate than I would have imagined.
I also think there are many little subplots we are not aware of which is why it seems we change directions as to motive, who the target is, etc.
I believe in my heart of hearts that Dems are in this for power, but someone else is in this with one goal--Destroy Bush.
