we're losing in Iraq (thank Chuck Hagel for that last one)

The moment when Hagel lost any chance for the GOP Presidential nomination.

This is rich, more lies by the Gray Whore - maybe they got in touch with Dan Rather and have some more forged documents!

Subject: Moving On: A New Kind of Peace Activism

By Don Hazen, AlterNet    "Our goal is to make it impossible to ignore the    anti-war sentiment in this country." - Eli Pariser    of MoveOn.org

A tall, bearded young man, his blue suit hanging awkwardly on his body, steps to the microphone in an ornate room in Washington, D.C.'s JW Marriot Hotel.
To the young man's right is the suave, articulate Ambassador Joe Wilson, who served as Deputy Chief of Mission to Iraq in the Clinton Administration.
To his left is former Congressman Tom Andrews, the savvy new National Director of Win Without War, a broad-based anti-war coalition.

These men, along with Darcy Scot Martin of Women's Action for New Directions (WAND), Rev. Brenda Gerton- Mitchell of the National Council of Churches and others are at the Marriot to make the case to the American people for the continuation of UN inspections as a strategy of containment.
The goal: to avoid destabilizing the Middle East, which would increase the chances of future terrorist attacks and expose U.S. military and Iraqi civilians and soldiers to the retaliation with biological and chemical weapons that an invasion of Iraq may well provoke.

So....Wilson liked containment of Iraq

Was someone close to Wilson part of the Oil-for-Food scandal?

The media intends to create a scenario implicating the Bush Administration in a scheme to discredit Wilson through the leak of Plame's name.

Ah, have you been paying attention? As Robert Redford said in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, "They've got their hands up; skip on down."

So far this hasn't worked for them; now how does your "birdie" claim the press will start impeachment proceedings since this one bombed.

Actually I think the N.Y. Times uses Drudge as free PR. He has posted about many of the N.Y. Times coming "exclusives" during the presidential campaigns.

Can't beat the free publicity.

Relax. Dennis Hastert and Tom DeLay are running the House, and with the exception of that weeenie Shays there will be NO Republicans who would even consider voting for impeachment, especially over such a charge with its most important witness (Wilson) having been shown to be a liar.

There will be a lot of ranting and raving, and I imagine the Rats will try to get the President to sacrifice Rove in order to get his Supreme Court appointments passed. I have every confidence in the President and in Karl Rove.

Impeachment is not the goal. Delaying the confirmation of Bush Judges is.

My favorite Drudge screw up was "KERRY DOING INTERN FROM NAIROBI AFRICA".

I'll never forget the storm it made over here on FR. That was funny. There was actually a guy on here who lived in Kenya who was staking out the ranch she supposedly fled to. He was giving us min by min updates. lol

After hearing that Plame hasnt even worked overseas since 1997, its clear to see the lib loons really are out of their minds. Didnt Kerry accidentally out someone not long ago? I think it was him and another senator who inadvertantly gave up someones ID.

Does not mean the NYT will print the exclusive tomorrow and a major retraction the next day?

It seems the NYT lately is known for its retractions and inaccuracies. Like the baby that was orphaned by the tsunami which caused the real parents of babies major headaches trying to GET THEIR BABY BACK because of the foul-ups of the NYT. I believe the NYT is one of the Top TRASH TABLOIDS in NYC. And I guess its major competition nationally is the National Enquirer.

Maybe they should write novels than be involved in journalism.
