"Liberals want to destroy Rove because they believe he is the ‘evil genius’ who has single-handedly destroyed the Democrat party and is the person solely responsible for hindering them from a resurgent movement back to power and prominence."

Wilson said on CNN she wasn't covert.

Case closed.

Cooper’s email vindicates Rove on three fronts: 1) Rove never gave Plame’s name, 2) he was clearly warning Cooper that his information was inaccurate, not telling him to use it in a story, and 3) he couldn’t have ‘outed’ an undercover agent he didn’t know was covert, because that’s exactly what being covert means.

Cooper is not the only journalist to claim a "White House source" as making a phone call to inform that Valerie Plame, Joseph Wilson's wife, was a CIA operative.

If Rove released Cooper, why did he not also release Miller? Could it be that he was not the ONLY member of the White House who was telephoning journalists?? Who telephoned Novak, Russert and Mitchell??

and I love him for it. I will donate to any Rove Legal Defense fund, should the filthy traitors on the left remotley succeed in getting him into a court action. You know someone is ginning up a suit on behalf of all "outed" agents or some rabble.

"Cooper; who’s wife is a Democrat advisor working for Hillary Clinton, is now testifying before a Grand Jury about his conversation with Rove. "

An objective MSM pundit, he.

Why Democrats Want So Desperately To Destroy Karl Rove

This is typical Liberal tactics. Put a face and a name on their evil hatred. Rove is just the latest victim. They've tried this on Delay, Rumsfeld, Ashcroft, Livingston, and Gingrich to name a few.

I was sitting in an auto dealership lounge and CNN was on. They gave full time to Dem's and even Carl Levin yet cut off Republican responses. Dam liberals next to me were just drooling with pleasure or were to ignorant to understand what they were being exposed to.

Mr. Rove made his mistake when he treated Cooper like a decent human being and tried to help him in a decent way.

Always---Always suspect reporters. Give them nothing they can possibly use against you. the best way is to have them submit their questions in advance, It works for Hillary.

Excellent points,sgt. . . . I love "It works for Hillary!" - so true.

It's SO-oooooo too bad that Rove is being pilloried for having been a gentleman! I totally LOATHE these liberals - every last one of them.

Thanks for your comments, sarge!

Is it possible that Miller is protecting herself because she is the original leak???

I think Rove is over-rated and George Bush under-rated. And as Kerry and Gore should (but won't) testitify, never under rate your enemy.

Cooper called Rove about welfare reform and this just came up.

Miller, I believe, has other sources she and the NYT doesn't want exposed and I'll bet good money it's not a WH "source". Personally, it's probably Wilson himself and this could be another memo-gate type incident.

Of course they are ignorant. That's an oxymoron with them. So ignorant they don't realize they are being duped yet again.

It's possible that Miller is the one who told Karl Rove (though I suspect it was Tennant).

It is also possible that Plame (or Wilson) was Miller's source. Miller is a reporter specializing in WMD. Plame was working for CIA, specializing in WMD. It's quite likely they knew each other -- and what each other did.

Given that Miller won't answer questions about a source for a story she never wrote, it's possible that she became involved in the investigation because somebody (Rove?) said "Miller is the one who told me about Plame".

If Rove released Cooper, why did he not also release Miller?

Rove signed a blanket waiver releaseing EVERYONE. The real question is why Miller is still keeping quiet.

He's probably laughing up his sleeve while chanting "What, me worry?"

Lots of others need to be worried.......very worried, in my opinion. If there weren't some potential Democrat bombshells here, why would the Democrats be making all this noise? We haven't heard the half of this story yet. It didn't begin with Karl Rove. It goes a lot deeper than his casual, innocent, off-the-cuff remark to Cooper at the end of a 2 minute conversation, which he didn't even initiate!

The Dems have turned it on its head, trying to make it appear that the "evil mastermind," Karl Rove, deliberately tried to expose a diligent CIA undercover agent. It's nonsense, but Democrat operatives continue to believe that the vast majority of the American public are stupid imbeciles! I predict that they're going to get burned before this is finished!

Thanks for your comment, Fudd Fan!

the ‘evil genius’ who has single-handedly destroyed the Democrat party

That title should be reserved for the one man who really did destroy the Party -- William J. Clinton (a GOP operative?).
