Anything you read in the Onion or Scrappleface can pass the "sniff test".TRUE...(esp. last sat. S'face :), This so-called "Rove" affair, is a tempest in a teacup. The liberals' play-book is dead/flaccid, LMSM, has been throughly discredited ...it has no real new ideas/only "class warfare/hatred"...hardly a plank to run on in '06/'08.
This is the 'Rats only chance, "the Gang of 14" agreement won't hold, GWB will get 3 of 4 USSC Justices. The 'RATs Congresscritters know this, they're terrified.

I think you are largely correct but some of what you say is overblown - the left's agenda is dead for the next 30-40 years if Bush gets 1 or 2 SC appts? - I don't think so. Oh? How long has it been since Rowe V. Wade? How long since the first Affirmative Action ruling? The EPA? It will take just as long to revive them as it will have taken to kill them. All Bush need do, is select a couple of folks in their early 50s. That will insure that the court could live through a couple of Democrat presidents if need be.

The RATS are calling for firing and resignations on a daily basis so it would be impossible for the country to get back to real national concerns if Rove was removed . If the Pres fired anybody for any reason, the RATS would just ladder up to the next person and keep the circus going. Also, Rove broke no law but I would think Joe Wilson did when he lied in his report about his Niger visit as well as saying that Cheney sent him there, and that his wife was not responsible for him being chosen for the trip when there is proof that she was. I wonder if it will take a citizen's arrest to nail that liar since he seems immune from normal legal procedures.

You've been on FR this long and still have the comprehension of a DUer?
You imagine that you know MORE than the president and Rove do? NOT ON THIS UNIVERSE.

I think that there may be a link on the Hugh Hewitt web site. I know that he talked about it. Evidently there were thirty some major newspapers that signed Amicus briefs.

What do you say about #2 and #3? I don't even understand #2.
As for #3, I think I'll stick with Occam's razor.

I don't understand why, if Plame wasn't a covert operative, and it was not illegal for Karl Rove to tell Matt Cooper that she worked for the CIA, Judith Miller needs to protect herself from the revelation that she revealed this information. That doesn't make sense to me. Help.

I only mentioned it out of concern for your health. You are starting to symptoms of asphyxia. You're rambling on and on about a non-issue concerning Bush/Rove. I didn't know you hated them so much.
Rove is innocent.

I think that if you cannot take the heat get out of the kitchen. If you do not pay attention to the truth and just listen to the MSM DNC you deserve to be chastised for your negativity and nastiness brought on by overdosing on leftist propaganda.

He didn't leak.
Rove IS innocent of what he is being accused of doing.
You claim that President Bush isn't very bright. Okay, let's see..................a "not very bright" man graduated from Yale and Harvard, was the Governor of Texas, has twice been elected to be the president of the USA and thus far, has gotten MORE Conservative things done/ passed, than Reagan ever dreamed of, and is winning a two front war on terrorism. Yeah, riiiiiiiiiiiiight, President Bush is really not very brought at all; as opposed to you, you a little nobody nothing, who sits behind his keyboard, posting utter drivel to a web site.
You don't understand politics at all, you don't know how things work in D.C., you are mordantly clueless concerning how Rove and the president should handle the Rove thingy, and you don't even know what 1) the law about covert agents states 2) what Rove did 3) what Wilson and his Dem cohorts are doing.
You aren't worth a bucket of warm spit and your opinions are about as valid and interesting, as those over at DU!

If Rove knew, as a result of his security clearance, Plame's identity, and leaked it, then he's "the source." But, if a reporter talks to some government official and says "I hear that Wilson's wife Plame works at the CIA" and that makes it to Rove, and he tells Cooper this, he (Rove) isn't "the source" - it's whoever told the reporter. That's #2.
