U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer and Ambassador Joseph Wilson will hold a press conference at 3:00pm TODAY, July 14, 2005 in the Mansfield Room of the U.S. Capitol to call for the suspension of White House Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove' security clearance until the investigation of the leak of CIA Agent Valerie Plame's identity is resolved.

It'll be fun to see the reporters softballing Wilson at this "press conference". More like a mutual self-pleasuring.
Durbin has no right to call for any investigation of anybody or anything. The only thing he needs to do is resign for his treason. He should be tried and face the military penalty (death by hanging) if found guilty.

I think the 3:00 news conference is a NEW TALKING POINT.
The left sees this falling apart so they are going to demand a token punishment. REVOKING SECURITY CLEARANCE IS A BS EFFORT TO GAIN A CAMPAIGN POINT.
The reason Schumer is going to push the revoking security clearance is to be able to say Rove has no "gravitas" and is outside the security loop. They seek to have the MSM be able to say they can't or should not bother with rove because "no clearance = does not know."
I pray GWBush does not fall for that sucker punch.
What do you want to bet that a reporter from one of these networks and newspapers, ASK Wilson about that paper that was given that ADMITS there was no crime?
