U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer and Ambassador Joseph Wilson will hold a press conference at 3:00pm TODAY, July 14, 2005 in the Mansfield Room of the U.S. Capitol to call for the suspension of White House Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove' security clearance until the investigation of the leak of CIA Agent Valerie Plame's identity is resolved.

the white house should never have backtracked on the Niger story - the Niger story was true, the forged documents were planted as a poison pill to discredit it.
I could be completely wrong, but what if the NY Times or Cooper, or someone associated with the lib media somehow got Berger to swipe those documents. Nothing is too far fetched as far as the liberal mo is to get this administration.

True. Mr. Prairie just said to me "I'm not paying attention to it", when I told him of this presser news. And he isn't, because he's working and earning us a living and aren't watching this just like the vast majority of Americans with this story. Heck, this is complicated for me and I'm a FReeper, fer Pete's sake! :^P

Someone else that is "skating" on major charges is Valerie Plame herself, if Wilson was telling the truth in the Vanity Fair article...
I didn't read it, but I heard on a talk show yesterday, that Wilson recounts how and when he met her...at that time, she WAS supposedly undercover in Europe...
According to Wilson, on the THIRD date, they were making out, and she said she had something to tell him....and at that point, told him she was an undercover CIA operative...
NOW, I also heard that it is a "federal offense" for a CIA agent to "out" him/herself....because of National security reasons, and they have to sign some kind of oath of secrecy.
IF any of the above is true, shouldn't SHE be brought up on charges??? Jeez, louise, she "outs" herself to a stranger? 3 dates is NOT enough to "know" anyone!
