For those who are interested in this tournament.
I guess they don't check for roids in the open. Woods would be DQd.
*yawn*
Still a lot of good players out on the links. I'll have another look at the results when the round is over!
6 under par...WOW
I highly doubt we will see a 7 under par today from the British Isles : )
After The Masters, The British Open is my fave. Tiger is 6 under after Round 1. Didn't he shoot 19 under the last time they played at St Andrews? I thought they were going to make the course longer this time around?
Match play is more fun to play and more fun to watch.
I'm more into the beauty of the courses themselves. As a non-golfer and a female, the golf is interesting, and I'll watch more than my share of it, but I love the links-style courses of GB, and Augusta in March is eye-candy to us Northerners!
He must be an ironman. When I get'um, I can hardly even walk. ;-)
No, that's an unusually low score on those courses. My brother has played in Scotland (he's in the Air Force in England) and said it's incredibly difficult compared to the average course in the U.S.
I wish they would, just to keep you quiet.
I'm convinced that steroids are a major problem in golf.
you're the second person to tell me this. a googled search of "Tiger Woods" and "steroids" returns a great number of interesting hits. ...still, if it isn't against the rules, it isn't against the rules.
oh please....
There was one this year where he chipped in from just off the green where he had to shoot way to one side of the hole and the ball just turn back and rolled right down the green and into the hole.
Why do you think Tiger is on steroids?
most of the local caddies from Britian in this tourney usually golf par or better : )
when woods is leading orrunning away withit , it makes for a boring tournament, but when he is sucking wind and throwing his temper tantrums and cursing out the gallery , then i enjoy watching him be the million dollar cry baby.
golf is better watching without him in the mix. i was watching a show with jack nickaluus and bob costas actually said tiger doesnt have a rival like nickaluas had in arnold palmer, i wonder if VJ Singh agrees with that statement?
