I wouldn't carry a service issued 45 for anything. I an an expert shot, but the service issued 45 is more accurate when thrown at the target. Maybe they were good for knocking down Moros in Pershing's time, but they're too sloppy now.

GarySpFC, strap one M67 to your service .45 prior to throwing and accuracy is improved between 20 meters and 40 meters. Method not recommended to improve accuracy under for 15 meters.

Gary you are right about the service issued 45's accuracy. . Yes they were effective in knocking down those drug hyped machete wielding Moros in Pershing's time. Reminds me of the drug hyped VC, dead men walking under the influence. MNSNR
