Thanks for the link. I did carry the 45.cal during the majority of my military career. An excellent weapon and attested by many in LE.

I just prefer the Glock 23. I like to shoot first/fast no safety to slow me down in those fast encounters of the dead kind. NSNR

I wouldn't carry a service issued 45 for anything. I an an expert shot, but the service issued 45 is more accurate when thrown at the target. Maybe they were good for knocking down Moros in Pershing's time, but they're too sloppy now.

Glock 23 are excellent weapons.
