Beth would have confirmed this AND sources close to the case informed El Dario that Joran made a confession, but it wasn't true either.

Correction, it has been reported he made a confession, but shortly thereafter withdrew it.

To be honest we do not know if it's true. That said, remember C&C's is a very crowded and noisy place, with lots of distractions. Something like this could have taken place and not noticed in all the confusion.

The alleged confession was reported by Jossy Mansur shortly after the beginning of this. Then retracted

Last week, the alleged confession news broke once again by the same Jossy Mansur's reporter.

Once more, it was denied, this time by Joran's attorney. But Mansur is standing by the story.

Did he or did he not make a confession?

Hi Sunny, doing good. Daughter is supposed to get out of the rehabilitation hospital on Saturday, but part of her skull is still out.

I agree with you. No reason to lie at all unless you know (before it gets out) that she was missing.

I do not have problems with your questions. The pure and simple truth is that many people have come on this board and attempted to imply that Natalee somehow is at fault for what has happened to her. SHE IS NOT! I realize and respect that you have friends on the other side of this horrible situation. As much as certain people would like to make Natalee out as a drunk and a druggie or a slut she is not. You certainly don't see Natalee's picture on websites promoting drinking, gambling, drugs and sex.

And as much as you may not wish to believe it I feel those three know exactly what has happened to Natalee and they are responsible. Just by the pure fact that if they did not see to it that she was safe back at our hotel that night knowing that she was a guest of your island is in my book a crime. They had a primary responsiblity for ensuring her safe arrival back at the hotel.

Natalee would be the first one to offer a helping hand and she trusted too much. I know that something very very unusal happened for her to even get into that car that night. Joran has lied his ass off. I can guarantee you that Natalee did not have a conversaton with him about sex at that bar.

So try as people will Natalee is exactly as we have protrayed her. You don't wish to believe it then that is not my problem.

You mentioned that Nat might have asthma and use an inhaler. I don't know for a fact, but I have read that rohypnol (date rape drug) has a depressant effect on the respiratory system. Someone suffering from asthma might be particularly vulnerable to the lethal effects of rohypnol. I will do some research and report back.

Well, I would hope that the Americans would quietly take their business elsewhere. My friends are already saying they'd never send their kids there.

A confession would likely have taken place early in the questioning. However, after realizing the enormity of the corner he had painted himself in, and remembering his father's instructions he likely recanted. That said, we will just have to wait and see what comes out.
