Mountain Brook High School graduate Natalee Holloway went missing May 30 during a senior trip to Aruba. AP photo
Since FNC isn't saying anymore about this.....
I'm waiting for Dan Abrams.
It doesn't look that far off, because the water is only up to their chests, and people are meandering by on flotation devices.
This is frustrating. I hope they don't open the lid before whatever they should do for "forensic" type of evidence.

ONLY CONCRETE IN THE BARREL.
REPPORTED ON ARUBA RADIO AND POSTED BY NATIVE AT SM
Had not thought of that angle and think you may be right. I hope Jug is wherever Beth is and neither at the beach. I believe this is probably off a ship somewhere but I am praying that if she has to be dead, that this is her. Wonder where they will take the barrel to open it and I wonder if there is any labels/stamps on it. wonder wonder wonder....
This is frustrating. My heart is in my mouth.
I hope Dan covers it.
There may be a media blackout.
Greta's about 5 foot.
I was replying to those who are asking why they don't see coverage of this as it unfolds. I am on the net and not watching tv, but some say it was covered at first but they have seen little or nothing for awhile. Perhaps they are watching it on a network that isn't showing updates while others are. But I was only trying to answer as to why they weren't seeing the moment by moment coverage they thought they would see. If the family had requested that a moment by moment not be shown, because they really do think it is Natalee and they are dealing with a devastating situation...
ugh....why would someone put concrete in a barrel?
Who puts "only concrete" in a barrel?
Someone put concrete in a barrel in the ocean? Those people are idiots.

I suspect Tim Miller's cadaver sniffing dogs have more forensic experience that Aruban LE (not to mention that the dogs have a greater motivation to find the truth).
Now reading posts saying that there is nothing in the barrel but .......concrete. Good grief!
I wonder if it's an old mooring? I'll bet it is, that's about where you would expect to find such a thing.
I didn't mean it as criticism. I am just nervous as a cat waiting for news.
Used to attach buoys to for boats to tie up in the water for divers. They use these around Bonaire. Apparently they do in Aruba too.
but I want the concrete broken up myself, just in case.
I don't see how they can determine it is "just concrete" unless they take a jackhammer to it.

Dan has done very good (daily) reporting
on this thing.
Yep...
