Now, friend, let me tell you, I'm going to give you some information right now. It's information that you're not hearing on TV. It's information that you haven't heard certainly in the court system. Inside sources in this investigation tell me and have told me—and I found out earlier today that there are reports from people who are inside the bar that, actually, Natalee Holloway was approached twice by Joran van der Sloot.

Twice, he made passes towards her. Twice, she rebuffed him. The second time, she pushed him away. And a friend of hers from Birmingham from the school hit him with a closed—or, I'm sorry—Joran hit Natalee Holloway with a closed fist. Then this friend tried to walk in between the two and tried to stop him from aggressively going after her and suggested that he take it outside. If he wanted to fight somebody, he should fight somebody his own size.

Sounds like this all took place prior to them getting into the car. If its true.

We know something happened to her, right? I personally don't think that Joran went upside her head with a 2x4 or some other blunt object. Look at it from his warped point of view. He had a good thing going. Why mess it up? He plays poker, drinks, has a dad that flies cover for him, has his "pick" of drunken tourist girls, and is graduating from high school. TOP OF THE WORLD in the eyes of a seventeen year old.

His lack of knowledge of pharmacology caught up with him with Natalee. If there is any meaning in Natalee's death, it is that this Monster won't be able to prey on young girls anymore.

I would be willing to bet that there are probably over 15 girls in the US, Aruba and Holland that have had an experience with Joran Van der Sloot. They are afraid to come forward because they may have happily taken the ecstasy that Joran offered and then were too ashamed of the rape and drug use to tell anyone.

Maybe they felt that the rape was their fault because they had taken the drug willingly. Maybe afterward Joran informed them that they couldn't do anything to him because of his father's position and friends. We now know how the Aruban police blow off foreign crime complaints. Hell, Joran may have told these girls that they would be the one arrested because of the drug use. Remember, GodPapa or close family friend, Van der Straaten.

I believe that Joran is a sociopath who truly thought that he had a good thing going and was getting ready to take his show on the road to central Florida. Now he's been stopped.
We may never find Natalee but everyone in the world will remember what a monster Joran Van der Sloot is and it will follow him for the rest of his life.

I know this is all supposition on my part but I believe that's what we've all been doing. One last thing. I don't think that Joran knows where she is. I think that his father dug up Natalee and disposed of the body without telling Joran what he did with it. That is the reason that Joran hasn't cracked.

Ok, I'll give you that. However, what if the girl on the trip was one of the ones who knew that one could buy ecstasy as Carlos and Charlie's? Wouldn't she cover for Natalee? Aren't they all kinda covering each other for being in a hellhole like CC's in the first place? I think she knew Natalee's was X-ing, as the kids call it, thought she was doing it willingly and was deflecting any criticism of Natalee towards herself. Natalee was a sweet girl per all her friends and acquaintances. The "cool" element thought Natalee was just being "cool." There are too many maybes and probablys in my post, sorry. I'm just trying to make since of why such a beautiful young girl with so much in front of her is gone. TAW

I was an RN in my former life (before I married a Lawyer and became a paralegal) I know what those drugs are. Ecstacy however is not always MDMA. It can contain a number of things as you know. That's what's so dangerous about it. One never really knows what is in it for sure. It has even been found to contain heroin. The inhalers are of the adrenalin family and speed up the heart rate however and IF you mix that with an Amphetamine, you could run into trouble. Natalee I don't believe would have ever taken any of these drugs knowingly tho. And inhalers are used a couple of puffs at a time and then usually nothing for many hours or not at all.

Well, Malichi..what we all have been doing, as another FReeper put it, is "brainstorming". Even tho what you say makes sense, it's still hard to prove. Frustrating, isn't it?!

Rip, as I've said before, WHY would Joran feel it necessary to contact Deepak at that hour to tell him he was home? Only two possible reasons, IMHO.

1. To set up an alibi

OR

2. Because Deepak was on standby to pick him and Natalee up from the beach. Because Natalee was dead, Joran didn't want Deepak to pick him up.

We still don't know how Joran got home that night.

Okay so we know thay are holding Joran for another 60 days. My thought is why aren't they charging him yet?

Someone had said if they hold him again this time they will HAVE to charge him.

I'm an Oncology Pharmacist. If she was taking one of the long-acting alpha adrenergics it could still be in her system for hours after she used the inhaler. Salmeterol is one of these.

I don't know where I read it but someone was speculating that Joran and the Kalpoes had taken Natalee back by the Holiday Inn before going to the lighthouse. Hell, it might have been the Haunted Coffeepot Site. I wonder if Natalee wasn't having chest tightness or some other adverse reaction that she mistook for the beginning of an asthma attack started by all the smoke in Carlos and Charlie's and wanted to take a puff off her inhaler. She might have even had an inhaler with her. This intense euphoria induced by ecstasy would have clouded Natalee's judgement a great deal and even though not in her right mind she would've appeared normal to the others in the group X-ing their brains out. Had she been on rohypnol she would've stood out like a sore thumb.

Your right about Ecstasy being a catch all name. PMA which causes death in small doses has been sold as Ecstasy. There are several case reports of death from PMA in Australia because a dealer or whomever mixed up the stuff got their calculations wrong and dosed each tablet on a MDMA dose.
And then there's DOM which causes irreversible Parkinson's.
I remember reading somewhere that somebody even cut their tablets with strychnine. Bad Stuff!!!

If she was asthmatic she could have had drug allergies as well. If Joran gave her an unknown drug she could have had an allergic reaction and died in their car. That is a possibility that occurred to me early on. That could account for the 'bad thing' that one of the boys said happened. Everything else has been cover up.

July 14, 2005 -- JORAN Van Der Sloot, the prime suspect in the disappearance in Aruba of vacationing Alabama teen Natalee Holloway, is already guilty — of being a lousy poker player.

Van Der Sloot, the 17-year-old son of an Aruban justice official, is being held in connection with the vanishing of 18-year-old Holloway. He was a bad bluffer and lost big during a Texas Hold 'Em tournament on the Caribbean island back in April.

Miami club impresario Tommy Pooch, who played next to Van Der Sloot for more than two hours, tells us the Dutch-born youth "was as nice as can be, but he was a terrible poker player.

"He kept buying back in, and finally he got knocked out when they stopped buy-ins," Pooch said. "He was a terrible bluffer . . . He was a young, excitable kid. He wore the sunglasses and the baseball cap like they do on TV, but even that didn't help."

Van Der Sloot must have had a habit of losing money in the poker room of the Holiday Inn-Aruba. "It seemed like everyone knew him there," Pooch said. "It was his hangout. He knew all the dealers by name. He was a local yokel."

Last week, an Aruba judge released two brothers held as suspects in the disappearance of Holloway, but ordered that Van Der Sloot be kept in custody for another 60 days. Holloway was last seen around 1 a.m. on May 30 leaving a local nightclub with Van Der Sloot and his buddies Satish Kalpoe, 18, and his brother Deepak, 21.

It was the last day of Holloway's high school graduation trip with her classmates.

This week's National Enquirer advances the theory that Van Der Sloot confessed to his father that he dumped Holloway's body in shark-infested waters after she accidentally hit her head and drowned in an Ecstasy-induced stupor on an Aruban beach.

A source told the tabloid that Van Der Sloot and Holloway went swimming together after meeting at the club and taking drugs together.

"Natalee fell, hit her head on a rock and drowned," the Enquirer quotes its source. "In a drug-and-alcohol induced panic, Joran felt he had no other choice but to dispose of Natalee's body in the sea."

Van Der Sloot has not been charged, and his family maintains his innocence.

That National Enquirer part sounds like BS to me, but it also sounds like it may be one of Joran's 12 different versions of events.

At this point I wouldn't even buy it. With all the lying scumbags down there, I won't even believe she's dead until they produce the body.
