The Humphrey Terminal at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport was evacuated this evening after bomb-sniffing dogs smelled something suspicious in an unattended bag.

Passengers and employees were sent to a parking garage across the street. The Bloomington bomb squad was on the scene.

Planes were moved away from the gates as a precaution.

The Lindbergh Terminal was not affected by the evacuation.

Light rail service continued through the evacuation.

Two bomb-sniffing dogs apparently sat down next to two different vending machines in different parts of the building.

Looks suspicious to me.

I must admit ET .. I never thought of what your graphic portrays

I hope BP have thought of it. They could fill the remainder of the tanker with whatever substance they wanted to.

Hell why dont you just fax them the schematics and diagrams so they can build it?

After all we gave them the idea of 9/11 (ramming planes into buildings) from the first 10 minutes of Escape From New York (and from John Carpenter, no less, a paranoid liberal).

You forgot the 200 bomb-sniffing dogs chasing after it. ;-)

Bomb sniffing dogs can sniff though gas and lead?

I didn't work for UTC, I just worked on the building. Industrial Maintenance/Construction, I worked on a lot of mill & stuff. UTC was a unique place, the sheer size of the stuff they did was impressive.

Naa, it was that container of Lutefisk that Ollie was taking to North Dakota for the family reunion.
(It was his sister Lena's turn to hold the reunion.)

Yeah, but at least it's not a suitcase.

Its a lot easier to build a really big nuke than a suitcase nuke.

I have a lot more crazy ideas of what they could do but I won't make any diagrams.. As fun as photoshopping is maybe I should let them figure it out on their own. :D

Because it'll never work. The lead alone (according to ET's spec of 1/8" sheets) would weigh ~170,000 lbs., or ~85 tons. Add the nuke and gas and that thing's never moving.

The whole tanker isn't wrapped in lead... just the bomb.
