Instead of trains, this is what I would target if I were a bad guy. Simultaneous detonations in terminals will shut down the airline industry again. It would have a huge economic impact.

MSP- 8th busiest in the world.

Rail system is still working so it can't be too serious- otherwise the rail that stop at different point at the terminal, would be halted.

UPDATE:

The Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport's Humphrey terminal was evacuated tonight after bomb-sniffing dogs smelled something suspicious in two vending machines at the terminal.

About 200 passengers were sent to a parking garage across the street and a bloomington bomb squad was on the scene.

The Humphrey terminal is the smaller of the two terminals at MSP. All outgoing flights were delayed and all incoming flights were diverted to the larger Lindbergh terminal.

Metropolitan Airports Commission spokesman Pat Hogan said two dogs sniffed suspicious materials in two seperate vending machines. One machine was at the south end of the terminal and the other was in the center of the terminal.

Hogan said everyone is safe but officials were taking every precaution to find out what the dogs detected in the machines. The Humphrey Terminal at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport was evacuated this evening after two bomb-sniffing dogs smelled something suspicious in an unattended bag.

FROM KSTP.com:

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Humphrey Terminal at the Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport has been evacuated. Two bomb-sniffing dogs apparently sat down next to two different vending machines in different parts of the building.

One vending machine was on the south end of the building and the other was in the center of the building, said Metropolitan Airports Commission Spokesman Pat Hogan.

Sitting down indicates a threat, according to officials. The dogs were on a routines patrol of the airport.

Patrons of the terminal were evacuated to a parking lot. Seven airlines operate out of the Humphrey Terminal. Light Rail service continued through the evacuation.

Hogan said he believes this is a false positive, however, the Bloomington bomb squad is on the scene working with the airport police K-9 unit.

"We are taking this very seriously," Hogan said. "Our first concern is the safety of the public."

If you are flying out of the Humphrey terminal tonight, you should call your airline to check on the status of your flight. Traffic is not heavy at the terminal.

The Lindbergh terminal is still operating, and the only flight scheduled for the Humphrey Terminal is being routed to the Lindbergh Terminal.

CHOPPER 5 was asked to leave the airport's airspace and move to a location six miles south of the airport. CHOPPER 5 Pilot Ken Melchoir said this hasn't happened since 9/11.

Now what would make a dog sit down?

A nuke in a lead-encased tanker, eh? Even if you could find something to haul this with, wouldn't it be a little suspicious traveling down the road at 3 mph?

Yikes !

I'm a trucker and shortly after Sept. 11, 2001, a mom n' pop truck stop in Illinois was partly closed (The restaurant) because it was run by ME type people. No one really knew anything but the speculation was pretty unanimous ... they fled.

They also had a back alley type of garage where you could get some work done, not necessarily DOT approved, but what can get you back on the road if you had to and ... especially if you're on owner/operator ... relatively cheap.

I must admit ET .. I never thought of what your graphic portrays.

You forgot the 200 bomb-sniffing dogs chasing after it. ;-)
