"Conspiracy theories are born out of fear. I am not afraid. And I think most sane people would not be. Can you imagine an editor of a major newspaper -no matter what his/her political persuasion- sitting in his/her office trembling in fear from the possibility of retaliation..."
From my perspective, fear has nothing to do with what I am saying. I am talking about power...and access to that power. Unlike the liberal media that sends reporters to scour Texas for years based on the simplest of accusations, they did not do the same for Clinton with much more serious claims being made.
And your perspective on the media being even-handed because they did cover some scandals is also skewed. First off, they were forced to cover many of these issues since they just
grew to big. Yet, even here, the same attention was never paid, as these stories were few and far between.
Even the Lewsinsky case that you cite only became an issue after Drudge went to print with it. Before that, Newsweek was content to sit on that story...just as NBC was content to sit on the Juanita Broaderick story, even though they interviewed her. In fact, one of their excuses for not printing the story was because they didn't want to influence the Impeachment vote. Yet, these same people don't have that problem when it's a Republican, as they intentionally tried to influence an election.
I'm not even speaking so much about the Clinton Body Count, rather the fact, that you hadn't heard anything about it...just as many people didn't hear a lot of the other more outrageous accusations which were far more damaging, and at least deserved some investigation. Whether it was the untimely deaths of close Clinton associates like Ron Brown or Vince Foster, or the accusations of sexual assault and rape...the media never took the "personal" interest in these stories as they do a Republican accused of the same.
Hell, this is the same media that spent years investigating W's TANG service from 30 years ago, but never went into that same depth (and anger) WRT Clinton and his draft status, which we had proof of in the form of an affadavit from a Colonel and Clinton's own letter. They brought the Bush story up four times this year, but not once did these people go in to detail about Clinton's activities overseas during Vietnam. This has nothing to do with fear; it has to do with ideology and power...and those willing to look the other way because the ends justify the means.

To those who think this "Arkancide" evidence is looney,or coincidence, just ask any actuarial what the odds are of this many young, apparantly healthy healthy people who are connected to the Clintons meeting an untimely death.
The answer is: the odds of coincidence are about one in THREE TRILLION.

Good afternoon.
"This is the first time I've ever heard such claims..."
Where have you been for the last 14 years? The body count brought many good folk to the FreeRepublic.

And here's another great example for you: Someone whispers in the media's ear that Bush may have done Cocciane 30 years ago. What does the media do; they again, head down to Texas to interview anyone they could get their hands on...inclduing the disredited individual making the claim. This was a story for over a month.
Now, let's compare that to how they treated Clinton. Not only did they make a joke out of his "I didn't inhale," most of them refused to inform the public of Roger Clinton's FBI sting tape, were he was heard saying something to the effect of..."I got to get some of this for my brother; he has a nose like a vaccum."
Clinton's drug use was substantiated by several Clinton friends (including G. Flowers) and yet they never took him to task as they did Bush. In fact, as they demanded to see the medical records of both Bush and Cheney, Clinton's refusal was accepted with no cries over "what is he hiding?" I think it's obvious why you and others don't always hear what the truth is.

If Mrs. Clinton wins the election we are going to get all this stuff again only far more extensively. The success at keeping it all “under wraps” the first time ensures that the effort will be far more ambitious in a second Clinton reign. The dintimidation and silencing will not be limited to associates who might get dangerous, to people who know-too-much. The militias will come back and will be dealt with this time and, I suspect, bloodily.

You may be a long-time conservative but you are either very young or you did not pay attention in the 90s.

I worry about how it will pan out if it is a close loss for Mrs. Clinton. I know the Clintons will not accept it. I wonder how much power they actually have to alter already proclaimed results. I suspect they do have enough real power to try it. All it might take is one USSC judge to have a serious auto accident. Flying in any aircraft is definitely a foolish act for the Republican if the election looks like it will tilt away from the Clintons.

Rush started to discuss these things but realized early on that nothing was going to be done and that he would lose effectiveness if he continued with it because there would never be and satisfaction. By continuing to discuss something that could never have a resolution he would have become only a right wing conspiracy theorist. I cursed him at the time for “ignoring” these things but came to understand that his voice was needed for a long time and it should not be sacrificed for righteousness that could never be finally shown.

Why didn't Reagan or Bush 41 start an investigation into the shenanigans going on in Arkansas while Clinton was governor?Probably because Arkansas was regarded as a remote third world country that just happens to lie within USA borders. Why would anybody care what happens in Uganda?

Gorelick’s wall was designed to slow down the clinton investigations by not letting FBI/CIA/Police investigate together or share info. This opened the barndoor for terrorism which they didn’t want the public to know existed. 3000 deaths was a small price to keep them out of prison.
