I have a cat! :)
And to the other poster, cats can't help hacking up hairballs.

Yes, they can. And you don't need to buy expensive "hairball formula" food, either. Once a week, place about a 1/2 tsp of vaseline on the cats' forelegs, or tail, or some other easy-to-reach place, and the cat will lick it off. It will "grease the skids" so to speak.

Short-furred kitties don't seem to have a problem with hairballs. :) Mine doesn't.

I've had my best cat friend, Gus, for several years now and I've never seen him cough up a hairball. He's a shorthair, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Buy Purina One Hairball control catfood. My cats love it, and they have stopped hacking up hairballs. :)
