Perot never had a shot, neither will Tancredo, unfortunately, because they wanted America first, not elitism, and not One World Government.

I wholeheartedly disagree. Ross Perot and Tom Tancredo have been kept out of the White House by their own shortcomings and not some CFR "vetting" process.

As for Perot, I don't believe Perot actually wanted to be president. He seemed to have a good shot at the office before he quit in the summer of 1992. By election day, he had been discredited by his own antics.

Before Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Colo) can be considered a serious candidate for the White House, he needs to first enter the big leagues--win a Senate seat, a governor's chair, or a Cabinet position. It's tough to run for president from the House--as Jack Kemp, Bob Dornan, and Dick Gebhardt, and others have learned.

The CFR may be an influential think tank that leans liberal, but it's not all-powerful. These days, the Heritage Foundation, the Cato Institute, and other such think tanks are giving it a run for its money.

Great, a National Championship of Treason.

By the way, the CFR plan has already gotten the approval.

As far as getting on TV news shows, maybe, or holding events where they can schmooze with politicians and get C-SPAN coverage.

There is one significant difference, though. Anyone can "join" the Heritage Foundation by sending them a check. As I understand it, one has to be invited to join the CFR, and only an elite few are so invited. (Someone posted a membership list a few years ago, but I wouldn't know where to find it. Anybody know?)

Tancredo has yet to attempt to be President so how can you write he has been kept out? There is a reason why the two party system is well defended by the status quo types and that is so whoever wins they have the blessings of the elite.

The CFR is anything but liberal, it is elite, it is of the rich and the influential, it is not of the average working class hero that has made America great.
