OK. Perhaps you could share some of that commentary?
Hugh comments there was a press expose recently on Air America that exposed all kinds of real important stuff that MoveOn.org could care less about yet Plame wasn't even a covert agent that could have been exposed.
Re-write this. I don't know what you are saying.
Hugh's counterpart RadioBlogger has text transcript up now from an MSNBC appearance between Hugh & Wonkette today:
HH: No, no. It's not a leak. That's not the way it's done. When you talk to reporters in Washington, D.C., you have to leave it up to them to make the story, so that they get credit for it. Cooper wants to get credit for exposing Joe Wilson as a fraud. He doesn't want Karl Rove to get credit for telling him. So you have to stay on double secret background, in order to protect your reporter's ability to present it as a scoop. It's a little bit of an inside baseball, manufacture the news stuff. The only people upset about this are in the White House press corps, because Karl doesn't talk to them. He doesn't talk to Terry Moran, he doesn't talk to David Gregory, and they're mad that Karl won't talk to the empty-headed television people, but he will talk to serious reporters like Cooper
From what's been discussed on other threads - pointing out that Cooper is a scumbag liar who's married to the Clintonista hack spinmeister Mandy "Moustache" Grunwald, Hugh should disavow the 'serious reporter' comment ;)
