Don't blame Muslims without proof: sheik

MUSLIM leader Sheik Mohammed Omran says allegations that Islamist terrorists were behind the London bombings were premature and unsupported by evidence. Sheik Omran, head of the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah mosque in Brunswick, also rejected allegations Osama bin Laden was behind the 9/11 attacks in America, saying he believed the US Government itself carried out the atrocity. "That is absolutely what I believe it is," Sheik Omran told the Herald Sun. "It could be (to initiate a war) against Islam; it could be against Muslim countries, just to give them a free hand to do whatever they want."

Sheik Omran said elements within the US Government had arranged for the attacks on New York and Washington to give it licence for its imperialist agenda, in the same way the US pushed for a war with Cuba in the 1960s.

He said documents existed that showed the September 11 killings of almost 3000 people was "an inside job".

Western governments should not make accusations against Muslims about the London or New York attacks without proof, he said.

University of Queensland international affairs lecturer Carl Ungerer, a former Office of National Assessments analyst, said the US conspiracy theory was absurd.

"What we know from Mohammed Atta and the rest of the 9/11 suicide bombers was they clearly acted, if not directly under bin Laden, were working towards al-Qaida's broader objective of initiating and creating fear against Western governments," Dr Ungerer said.

"They were working towards the objectives bin Laden espoused."

Sheik Omran said the London bombings were evil but could not have been carried out by true Muslims, especially, he said, as Londoners had marched in their millions against the war in Iraq and supported the Palestinian cause.

Despite his alternative views on 9/11 he condemned terrorism, but said terrorism had different definitions for different people. He said the insurgents in Iraq could be called freedom fighters.

I guess in this twisted new world that we live in, openly boasting that you committed the crime no longer counts as evidence.

Someone needs to remind this rag-headed idiot that OSAMA BIN LADEN ADMITTED HE DID THE DEED. Muslims are do delusional that they probably should all be institutionalized.

I think AFTER al Quaeda announces a formal surrender this would be fine. But when you are at war and your enemy has declared war on you, you must assume all attacks are from you declared enemy. Maybe it turns out not to be the case, but in war, you must act like you are at war.

Where is this Brunswick? in Great Britain? in New Jersey? May God forgive these people for their acts and their lies, because I never will!

I gotta hand it to the muslims... They've forced us to abandon the notion that you are innocent until proven guilty.

Nut jobs will always believe whatever suits them. If they have to fabricate a document they will. There are documents which say that Alice went through a looking glass, that Paul Bunyan had a big blue ox named Babe, and that President Bush had some questionable particulars in regards to his National Guard service. Just because a document exists doesn't mean it's not fiction, it usually follows though that there will be someone who believes what it says.

Leader of Shintoism in America Yamagachi states "Don't blame Japanese for bombing Pearl Harbor without proof."

Shinto leader Yamagachi says allegations that the Japanese navy was behind the Pearl Harbor bombings were premature and unsupported by evidence. Yamagachi, head of the Shinto movement in America, also rejected allegations Emperor Hirohito was behind the 12/8 attacks in the Philippines, saying he believed the US Government itself carried out the atrocity. "That is absolutely what I believe it is," Yamagachi told the Herald Sun. "It could be (to initiate a war) against Japan; it could be against the entire East Asia Coprosperity Sphere, just to give them a free hand to do whatever they want."

Sounds like self admittance. No fewer than three Islamic Extremist groups claimed responsibility.
