Kerry and Clinton call for Rove's ouster
CAPITOL HILL Former presidential candidate John Kerry says "Karl Rove ought to be fired." Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton -- a possible 2008 presidential contender -- nodded in agreement. The two appeared together on Capitol Hill.
Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid says the matter of leaking a C-I-A agent's identity "rises above politics and is about our national security."

I think you got it all. LOL - I think "Bush Impeachment for Illegal Iraq War" might fall under the "No WMD's" category. That's another pipe dream of theirs. You would think they would learn their lesson by now. I assume they will be doing this until 2008. Should be fun to watch them cry and bang their heads in frustration over and over again!

"...Q: And, and, do you stand by your pledge to fire anyone found to have done so?"
done so? done what? (link didn't work).
Fire if commit a crime? Sure. Fire if talked to a reporter regarding Wilson's false claims? Nope.

the democrats do not have anything but abortion and gay marriage.
otherwise, their agenda is ad hominem attacks upon republicans.
their technique is to convince tv morons that there's something wrong--"where's there's smoke, there's fire".
only here, there is no fire. there's only democrat smoke creating the illusion that something's wrong.

Rush read a statement today from a woman who wrote the "outing" law. According to her, Valerie Plame was not protected under this law. Her current status is not high enough.
It doesn't matter who leaked. It wasn't illegal. It's the same as saying Kerry was in Vietnam. It's no big deal.
This is all a political hit on Rove. The democrats have nothing at all.

Yes, President Bush said he would fire anyone found guilty of illegally outing a covert agent, but he made it clear that the proof of the matter would be decided by the U. S. Attorney.
He never said that he would fire anyone just because they were accused of a crime. That's what I thought you were saying he had done.

"take the appropriate action"
Are you saying that means people would be fired .. because it doesn't mean that to me.
And .. since Rove has not done anything wrong .. there is no need to fire him!

No, I'm just saying what he said. I'm done speculating about this. Both sides are spinning it. I'll wait until the investigation is over.
