Kerry and Clinton call for Rove's ouster
CAPITOL HILL Former presidential candidate John Kerry says "Karl Rove ought to be fired." Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton -- a possible 2008 presidential contender -- nodded in agreement. The two appeared together on Capitol Hill.
Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid says the matter of leaking a C-I-A agent's identity "rises above politics and is about our national security."

Didn't Kerry drop the name of a covert agent a few months back in an open congressional inquiry?

In response to a question on whether Bush would fire the leaker, Bush answered "yes". Otherwise they used words like the leaker would "lose his job". It's just semantics, isn't it?

Gee, who woulda thought.
Kerry is an idiot and Clinton, well, first of all she is only a puppet that does only the bidding of criminals, and second, those who are serious about her should really think about it. All the hype about her being powerful is just a bunch of baloney. She will only do what her criminal and crooked backers tell her to, and it sure ain't you or me. The real mission here is to destroy America period.

Did anyone else hear Rush this morning when he said that Valerie Plume had not bee an out of country covert agent in over NINE years!! This is just ridiculous that that fact has not gotten into the mainstream media. How can she have been "outed" if she hadn't done covert work in NINE years!!!
To: Sub-Driver
Sounds like sour grapes to me.

Many times you can often judge a man by the enemies he makes...seems like Rove has all the right enemies. Must be a good guy, that Karl Rove.

as opposed to aking for this proven leaking moron's resignation....
Leahy gained notoriety in 1987 for his role in leaking classified information in 1986 about a covert operation by the Reagan Administration against Libyan dictator Moammar Gaddhafi.
Leahy, at the time, was on the Senate Intelligence Committee. Leaky Leahy was quoted in the Washington Times as saying he thought this effort "was the most ridiculous thing I had seen, and also the most irresponsible." Apparently he felt obligated to leak this intelligence information to the press-and the plan was aborted. One can only wonder how many innocent civilians have died since then because of Gaddhafi's terrorist activities.
Leahy also leaked intelligence information in 1985 dealing with the terrorist attack on the cruise ship Achille Lauro. The San Diego Union-Tribune reported that this leak apparently cost the life of at least one Egyptian operative who was working on the case. When Leahy leaks, people die.

I think the DO hate Rove more than Bush, because they still believe Bush is some kind of Texas bumpkin that couldn't possibly be smart enough to accomplish what he has...
Therefore, it MUST be "the brain", or "the architect", and so they figure if they get rid of Rove NOW, then Bush will just put his tail between his legs, and let them have whatever they want...
and that would weaken the Rep. party so much, that HIllary will just stroll back into the scene of the crime years ago!!!

Wasn't Kerry supposed to start impeachment hearing against Bush last week? or was it two weeks ago? The moonbats are barking so hard, I can't keep straight which crazy leftist made up story they are chasing this week.

wasn't it Harry Reid who leaked the contents of FBI files just recently? raw data?If it's what I'm thinking, I believe he was talking about a possible judge nomination and telling other senators that this guy wouldn't even get to the vote process if they went upstairs and read his FBI file (which can only be read by the judiciary committee members or the senators from the nominees home state of which Dingy Harry is neither).

The Libs are afraid of Rove. If they can get Rove out then that will help them in 2008. If Rove is still around then he will help the Republican nominee in 2008 and Rove is excellent at what he does. They don't want him around.
